Structural design course – Student’s visit at Campo Giuriati

On May 29, 2026, students from the Structural Design (AY 25-26) course stepped out of the classroom and onto a live construction site located near Campo Giuriati in Milano.

Accompanied by Professor Paolo Martinelli, the educational visit allowed students to experience a real-world building site firsthand. Observing the execution phases, structural assemblies, and safety management in action provided the class with an invaluable perspective on how structural drawings transition into physical reality. This direct exposure to the complexities of a working site is essential for shaping the practical expertise of future engineers and architects.
