Why did you decide to study Architectural Engineering at Politecnico di Milano after your Bachelor’s degree?

I chose to study at Politecnico di Milano because it is one of the best universities for architecture. I heard that Polimi focuses a lot on sustainability, which is something I care deeply about. I have always wanted to be a sustainable architect because I care about the environment and take my responsibility towards it seriously. Studying here also gives me the chance to meet architects from all over the world and learn from their knowledge and cultures.

What are the main opportunities that this Master Program offers for your personal and professional growth? What challenges did you encounter while studying in a foreign country?

This program has helped me become a better team worker and improved my skills in working with others. It has also given me more knowledge about sustainability, allowing me to focus on this area with more confidence and information. The experience here has opened new possibilities for me to build a career in sustainable architecture.

The heavy courses and difficult exams were challenging for me, but I managed to handle them successfully.

What are the main differences between studying in your home country and studying at Politecnico di Milano?

Studying at Politecnico di Milano offers a more international environment, which gives me more hope and chances to find jobs at well-known companies and universities. The professors and university staff here are very responsible and supportive. The way exams are evaluated is different and more organized than in my home country. There are also more activities, both academic and non-academic, organized by the university. Plus, the laboratories here are amazing, providing great opportunities for learning and research.
