Why did you decide to study architectural engineering at Politecnico di Milano after your bachelor degree?

I decided to pursue a Master’s in Architectural Engineering at Politecnico di Milano to enhance my technical and structural knowledge, complementing the architectural background I gained during my bachelor’s degree. This program provides a multidisciplinary approach, allowing me to bridge the gap between design and engineering aspects. Moreover, the opportunity to study in an international environment was an important factor, as it helps me improve my language skills and broaden my perspective on architecture and engineering.

What are the main opportunities that this Master Program offered to your personal and professional growth?

This program is giving me the opportunity to work in a highly international context, interacting with students and professors from different cultural and academic backgrounds. This has helped me improve my communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.

Professionally, the program offers exposure to innovative technologies, sustainable design approaches, and structural engineering concepts, which are fundamental for my future career. Additionally, collaborating on projects with international teams has improved my teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Are you satisfied about the knowledge and the skills acquired during the study program?

This program has been a truly transformative experience, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and deepening my appreciation for the intersection of architecture and engineering. It is providing me with a strong foundation in structural and technological aspects of architecture, complemented by hands-on experience through projects and case studies. Along the way, I have developed essential problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams. The balance between theory and practice has made my learning journey both enriching and stimulating, giving me the confidence to tackle the structural and technological complexities of architectural design.
